What is BAM?

BAM is the acronym for Business Activity Monitoring - the ability for business users to monitor the execution of business processes. It inherently allows data points to be defined within a business process and during execution the data is collected so it can be reported on in real-time via dashboards that can present the metrics as multiple perspectives. This allows aspects such as bottlenecks, volumes, dues and inefficiencies to be quickly and easily highlighted and presented to management for action.

How can we do this easily?

We offer BAM as standard functionality with the Skelta BPM.NET that is able to automate any business process. The data points and KPIs are defined within the process definition that is undertaken by a Business Analyst. The BAM reporting can then display the results as lists or graphs in multiple forms that can then be displayed on the Skelta dashboard.
