28 April is International Girls in ICT Day - a day in which we acknowledge female role models in technology to encourage young women and girls to be a part of this exciting and rewarding sector.
Technical innovation will play a crucial role in almost every sector of our country's economy and future direction. To shape this narrative and ensure the solutions meet the needs, gender diversity is critical yet less than 30% of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) professionals are women. We need this to change.
At Diversus, we celebrate women who are leading the way in inspiring young women and girls to pursue a career in technology and for them to contribute in setting future technology agendas.
